Annually, “Summer Media Studio” takes place in Neringa. Neringa is located on the Curonian Spit, a narrow peninsula separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. Neringa can be accessed from the Lithuanian port town of Klaipėda by crossing the Curonian Lagoon by a ferry.
Officially, this region counts its age from 1437—the first mention in historical sources of the fact that Nida's inn taxes have been paid. The city of Neringa, which is close to 50 kilometers long, comprises a total of four settlements: Juodkrante, Pervalka, Preila, and Nida. Neringa currently has about three thousand inhabitants. Besides the unique urbanistic locations, Neringa is famous for its amazing landscape: dunes, forests, medows, and two different coast lines (Curonian Lagoon and Baltic Sea)—all you can need for any genre film!
